Clinical Overview

A natural plant extract that hydrates dry skin, cools sunburns, and promotes wound healing. A topical antibacterial agent specifically used to prevent and treat infection in second- and third-degree burns. An antiseptic surfactant used to clean skin wounds, burns, and treat dandruff/head lice in combination formulas.

Usage Guidelines

Apply gel or lotion generously to dry or irritated skin as needed. Clean the burn. Apply cream 1-2 times daily to a thickness of 1.6mm. Keep burn covered with cream. Apply solution or lotion to wash the affected area.

General Guidance: Clean and dry the affected area completely before applying any topical cream, gel, or lotion. Unless specified, apply a thin layer and rub in gently. Always wash hands before and after application.

Possible Side Effects

Virtually none; very rare allergic reaction. Burning sensation, skin discoloration (graying), or low white blood cell count. Skin irritation or sensitization (rare).
